How to avoid the check engine light without cats?

I'm getting ready to replace the exhaust on my 05. (well its getting ready to be replaced). Its currently a Magnaflow catback exhaust. Single pipe.

I'm looking to do a catless true dual exhaust with just mufflers.

Ive seen some things mentioned how to keep the check engine light from coming on, but not really any explaination on them, thanks.

you can stack the rear sensors in spark plug nonfoulers, this will locate the sensors out of the exhaust stream.

O2 Sims plugged in line to the rear sensors will tell your truck's computer that the exhaust is OK, even without cats. A little more expensive than the non-fouler trick.

I stacked 2 on my hemi and it still throws a code on one side. I'm starting to think it's a bad O2 sensor

any auto store, spark plug non fowlers. one of them you'll have to drill a 1/2 hole in so the sensor can pass thur it to the second one. also you can stuff the second one with steel wool before you but them together. they work different in every truck. mine are screwed in to the non fowlers and hang on the side of the trans.every 2-3 months i'll get a code. i just clear it and go on.
