Headers for 2004 5.7 2500 4x4

I have read several posts and pages upon pages of advice that has left me more confused.
I want to add a set of ceramic headers to my truck with Y pipe to single 3 tube on down.
Use of the truck mainly is towing camper so I need low end HP/Torque.
Recommendations please would help for:
Truck is 2004 Ram SLT 4x4 2500 5.7
1. Long tube or shortyheaders and Brand
2. What kinda of bolts or studs are best
3. Gasket material aftermarket or OEM

Thanks for your time and help. I know Im probably beating that dead horse, but my head is spinning now from everything I read.

I run the headman longtubes not sure if you can get them coated or not. Only issue with the headman is the ball and socket flange they suck.

Passetter are decent and you can get them coated. They also have a slip fit flange at bottom and a flat 3/8” flange at the top where headman is machined flat welds.

There are a bunch more out there I have only personally dealt with these two brands.

Long tube, to y pipe 3in all the way out, is a good plan( stock displacement?) most of the brands out there will fit the bill, Pacesetter seams to get good reviews , they were on my 04Rumble Bee(salvage truck).
as for Ceramic VS Stainless , are you looking for under hood temp , or long life ? for life cycle Stainless is the way to go.

Ceramic coated stainless, long life and lower underhood temps.

I used OEM SRT8 bolts for my header install. They are a little long so you have to either cut about 1/4" off them or do like I did and stack a flat washer and lock washer to take up the extra room. My Edelbrock headers came with hardened flat washers and lock washers but cheap hardware store bolts.

Gaskets, use the OEM exhaust gaskets. They are actually VERY good.

Which would give the best low end torque for towing? Shorties, 3/4 length or long tube?

He's got a 2500, and I've only found one brand of long tubes that will fit it, and they run about $2K. I recommend going with JBA shorties to give him the torque he wants.
