H Pipe Needed?

Hi guys
I recently picked up a 2011 sport RCSB. The previous owner installed a CAI and a true dual exhaust system. I've been reading that I might be losing power without a H pipe installed to provide proper back pressure. Does anybody have an opinion on this?

If your true duals have twin Cats, twin mufflers and / or twin resonators, you should have plenty of back pressure. I have heard, and know on my own truck, that having the Y pipe gives you better torque than the true dual system. Torque, not horsepower gets these heavy trucks rolling quicker.

I agree with what's mentioned above. However, if it's bothering you, then have one put in. I don't see it costing more than 100.00. If it give you piece of mind, then the cost is irrelevant.

Welcome Aboard !!!

It does have twin cats and mufflers. I'll have to think about what I want to do, and get some prices from a shop.
