Getting an 09 Saturday. What's the exhaust setup?

Okay....so last time I had a Hemi it was an 05. I did a muffler swap with a turndown on it and cancelled out the rest of the exhaust.

Things are different this time. I am getting an 09 Saturday, and obviously the exhaust is different, and I want it to look the same with the tips under the bumper. But I would like to make it sound good. Are there resonators that can be deleted? Is a muffler swap easy? Trying to get a head start.

if there are resonators...I wanna get rid of them. How many mufflers? I will replace them. Any home remedies? If not, what did you get and have done?

Lightbulb

Just remember with the '05 you didn't have to deal with the 4/8 cyl cut-in cut-out problem so the sound will not be as consistent or comparable. You can still get a good sound out of it - just may take a little time to find what suits your ear...which is all that matters .

'09 bumpers have the cutouts for the dual exhaust tips. It would look odd without those notches filled. Should be just a single muffler. I agree that resonators are a waste of national resources...best to recycle those into something useful

If it has the factory dual exhaust, then you will have a single 3" in/dual 2.25" out muffler, then 2 resonators, and then the 2 tips in the bumper.

If the truck has the single exhaust, then you will have a single 3" in/3" out muffler with 1 resonator, and the tip goes out under the back passenger corner of the bumper.

Well, I have option A so a muffler swap shouldn't be too crazy. Have to check it out when I get it. Wouldn't mind doin that with a res delete. Then a tuner.

are there any resonator delete kits like the Challengers have? I helped a buddy do the res delete on a R/T Chally and it sounds a lot better.
