Considering dual spintech on single 3"

Getting ready to run the exhaust off long tube headers on my truck and I'm going to replace the 5 foot run of single 3 inch pipe with a stainless pipe. Was considering running a y off the end and doing dual Spintech for better flow. Any recommendations on that? Seems like just the one Spintech was a little restrictive. That may just be because my exhaust is stock. Idk. Guess I could run the one and y it later but wondered if anyone had already done this w positive results.

IMO - I really don't think you will gain anything except added weight in that described configuration. Use the MagnaFlow Y-Pipe and 3" 304 mandrel bent stainless steel pipe running into a 'true straight thru' 3" (or larger core) 304 stainless steel muffler - this configuration will work the best in 95% of our truck applications. If I were to use a baffled muffler then Spintech might? be my choice although their workmanship leaves a lot to be desired if you're picky - I prefer the non-resonated Aero Turbine (Jones) mufflers.
If you want the dual exhaust look out the back then you can configure that with a Y past the muffler.

My 2 cents worth ,
