If you're interested in giving your Hemi some growl without that nasty 2000rpm drone, try this simple mod. Only takes about an hour and shoudnt cost more than ten bucks.

First, head to your local auto parts store and ask for a turndown. Its a short piece of pipe that directs exhaust towards the ground.

Second, remove the length of stock exhaust that has the small secondary muffler. Its located in the pipe that goes over the rear axel. Its all one piece and bolts to the main muffler with a compression fitting. Very easy to loosen and slide off. The most challenging part will be removing the rubber exhaust hangers. It will require some elbow grease (and a little swearing) but if you work at it, they will come off.

Third, install turndown onto main muffler. Should slide right into compression fitting and your done! Sounds great! Enjoy!

Another ditto here, except mine is dumped before the axle, just attached the turn down to the end of my 14" magnaflow.
