AT 3030XL vs AR30

I was just curious if anyone could tell me the difference between the Aeroturbine 3030 XL and the Aero turbine AR 30 resonator? Can the resonator be used in place of the muffler or has anyone done that? I found a 3 inch one for 100 bucks brand new but didn?t know if it would be way too loud or what the deal would be.

IMO, the aero 3030xl on red is very loud. With that said the system is a lot shorter than most system run on our trucks.

Well I have a spin tech 9000 right now on mine and it is extremely loud. But also has a spot around 2500 rpm?s that is not my ideal sound either. Was looking to maybe smooth it out a little bit then cut out some of the popping. Will probably finish out the duals and put the factory tips back on as well at some point.

The AR 30 is just a resonator mainly for killing drone not a muffler at all. The aero 3030xl is nice and a lot quieter than a spintech that's for sure

Maybe I should just try running the pipe out first and see what it does. The Aero turbine is a lot longer than my spin tech so if I still want to soften it up I can just swap out the muffler at that point.

So what combination did you finally end up using to achieve the sound you were looking for?...
