A list of must DOs

Hey hey everyone

I wanted to see what others are doing for their exhausts systems. I'm personally thinking of buying the mufflers I want and going to a local shop and having them do all the piping and Welding. I've looked at a lot of of the bolt on kits and damn near all of them sound like RRRRRRAAAAAAAASSSSSSSPPPPPPP or they sound like an old stock Honda with a 4 inch coffee can.

Can anyone suggest a muffler with a deep rumble and of course loud when I get on it. No I do not have that VVT stuff

-Moosin

Thumbs up

There are literally endless opinions on muffler choices. My all time favorite is the Aero Turbine which I currently use! I've also used Magna-Flow in the past and have great appreciation for this brand as well...It boils down to YOUR personal preference in the end . I remove the resonators too and I would suggest buying high quality 304 stainless steel mufflers and using 304 piping / hardware wherever possible when constructing your exhaust system .

Haha how old are you? That'll determine if you want aero turbine or MagnaFlow. Wasn't long ago I put a true duals using Aero turbines and they lasted a week. I went back and installed the y pipe and a single Aero turbine, still too loud. Stuck a straight through 36" MagnaFlow and am happy with it. Impressive sound at idle and cruise. Let's every one know when it goes wot. Good luck...

Hey now. I can remember watching the Beatles fist appearance on Ed Sullivan and the first moon landing on TV. I did a muffler delete and kept the resonators on my 14 and could not be happier.

Haha that's because you are deaf.....
That's a funny reference to the Ed Sullivan show, I saw Elvis Presley on the show. Might have been 57, don't really remember. .. and that says something by itself. ..
