Looking for something that has better flow than the stock system, but I don't want it to be much louder at all, any suggestions?

I think I read that GC SRT headers fit. Those and a good cross over pipe with the resonators removed I would think would flow good. If more was wanted then the long Magnaflow (32") will do the job at the expense of being louder than stock. Good luck...

define better flow than stock? The stock system has a 3" catback exhaust from the factory up to the muffler, than 2.5" from the muffler to the tips. If you just want a nice flowing muffler go with a Magnaflow 18", It's still relatively quiet when cruising like OEM (mild tone, not really noticeable or loud at cruising speeds) but has a nice throaty sound at WOT.

Thanks guys, I guess I just figured the stock system had some restrictions, if it doesn't, I'll stick with it, but thank you for your suggestions.

Steve, your rims are awesome, my truck is the same color as yours, and those rims look great, what are they?

a 24" magnaflow will do you nice, little sound on acceleration but almost non existent when cruising....i got rid of a 14" magnaflow cause it wasn't loud enough lol.

Thanks bud, they're the Rims from the R/T Edition Ram's. Brad are you saying the 24" was louder than the 14"? Or you're just saying you wanted something louder than a 14" Maggie? If the latter than that makes more sense lol I have a 14" Flowmaster on my truck now and it's not loud enough for me but my last truck was straight piped so anything is quieter than that lol

Thanks guys....I watched some you tube videos, the 24" does sound nice, kind of a low growl. I heard it gets louder the longer it's on, do you know if that is the case?

The 18" and 14" sounded real good too!

it will get a little louder, but the 24" would never get as loud as the 18"

it will break in to a certain point but as deep said will never go as loud as an 18...so you get the flow through benefits and dont make a racket.

Where is the best place to order that muffler, and is it something I can do with clamps, or should I have it welded?
