1 or both resonators, that is the question.
Just bought an Aero Turbine 3030 off ebay a couple days ago and while awaiting delivery I have been pondering what will be the best set-up for it in the exhaust system.
I have an 06 1500 and that year, along with some 07's, came with two resonators. 1 before the muffler (after the Y-Pipe) and one at the end of the tailpipe. Which will give me the "beastiest" sound without the Harley Davidson crackle, which I've noticed with several AT 3030's,
1: Remove the front resonator (the larger of the two) and leave the rear or
2: straight pipe after the muffler.
or even a third option, putting the rear resonator where the front (larger) one is, loosing the larger resonator completely, and replacing the muffler with the 3030? So many options.... I don't have a welder at home, so every set-up I try will cost me bucks, so any advice would be appreciated.
