Vararam scoop issue? Any ideas???

I just bought the vararam intake for my 06 1500. I noticed when I got it that the scoop it comes with goes on the spot where my tow hooks are located. I would have to remove them to fit the scoop in place.

Anyone locate the hose in a different location?

you can mount the hose to the back of the bumper pointing straight down that sould work fine.

That's what I was thinking, I'm gonna mess with it in the morning. If not I was thinking of taking the hooks off but I kinda like having them there too..

I noticed the pad under the hood touches the clear cover. Anyone else have that problem? It'll probably scratch it up after time..

Nice fit.

Think about taking the pad off completely.
