Trick Performance Products turbo kit for dodge ram interest

So this morning I spoke with Rick owner of Trick Performance Products about building a front mount turbo kit for the dodge ram hemi platform. They are interested in building the kit but want to know if there is a market for them. So hence this post. They would need a donor truck close to Wichita, Tx. that would get a substantial discount and 5 other trucks to give a deposit to get the ball rolling.
Over the years there have been a few on here that have made similar posts about building and selling kits in their backyard. But seriously no one ever goes through with it.

Depending on fabrication pricing would be similar to the gm market.
TrickPerformanceProducts, LLC

This would be like a tuner kit meaning no tuning or injectors etc.
what you guys think?

According to him.....
The deposit would be the same. Pipes or kits.
500.00.
But will require at least 1 customer wanting a KIT.
And then the other 5 can be kits or pipes.

Humm.... I see......

Sounds like he wants a bunch of money up front from people before he attempts anything.

Doesn't he realize he'll be getting free feedback and advertisement of his product.

I doubt it will be cast.... unless there is a lot of production.

Stu... this was his response:

"1) bunch of money. Nope. Shows me people are interested. And if I can't make it happen.* Then the small deposit is refunded.
*that would refunded if I can't do it. Not if they can't.

1-1) 1st step is to find a truck for mock up.
2nd step take time and give it a solid look over. Determine if there's space for a front mount. That looks right, fits right.
3rd) then start taken deposits prior to turning a wrench. So some work is done on my part prior to any funds.

2) don't understand this one. My product speaks for itself. Granted the trucks are different. But it's welding, fitting and making it look correct. " I have all that on lock down". ."
