Supercharger for daily driver, what to expect

looking at 2.8 Kenny Bell twin screw or Arrington Magnacharger roots style.
Right now concentrating on Kenny Bell since I found more tech info to read.
Plus the Kenny Bell looks so good.

Looking for that threshold of the biggest gains before you really need to get serious money out
and everthing gets really complicated, something I can mod tune forget.

8 lb kit will give 515 rhp, based on 4750 lb truck best conditions 12.21 ET 91 octane
10 lb kit will give 571 rhp, based on 4750 lb truck best condition 11.80 ET min 93 octane

real world results I figure add 1/2 second on race track, atleast 1 second on street.
How accurate are these numbers with proper tires and TQ converter and 3.55 rear

Arrington is reasonable close to me in South Carolina, Any Kenny Bell tuners close to South Carolina?

Good luck with plug in and forget. Modified engines always require more maintenance in my experience.

I found a real sweet spot on an 03 Cobra, stopped right before I needed BAP injectors etc..
( which I know isn't the case here)

With a tune from Amazon in Anderson SC making 480 at the wheels and drove it 60K miles hard with no issues. I feel if money is spent smart with right people satisfaction abounds.

A bunch of patience and a whole lot of chasing issues. Each item needs to be compatible with each other or you force them to (Tuner Skills).

I'd lean towards Arrington. Your wallet will scream, but they will have all the bases covered.

yes you are right about Arlington, Just because they are close enough to drive to and seem to have the knowledge makes them a front runner.

If I keep boost level low and use all the right stuff are you saying that I'm still going to have issues?
I don't want to spend 10 and have continual problems.

Hemi and s/c equals fun and new driving habits been there done that. Yes Arrington is your best bet. There kit comes with a tuner I believe and a safe tune to run. Yes you could bolt it on and forget it at that point at least tune wise. Now as for the throttle that's a diff story. Your truck will be nearly impossible to go 1/2 without it going into boost believe me I tune and still can't get mine not to. Stock eng 8psi is the absolute max I would run 6 being a lot safer. The truck will need cooler plugs and periodic maint for regap on them too. You won't be able to do anymore 45mph wot runs your trans will go up in smoke 13down I know. Basically spend a lot use Arrington tune learn to drive like grandma until you wanna race from a dig or once you manually put it in second and wait 5secs then punch it. Have fun!

Nope turbos same deal too. Something about the speed density system dodge uses makes it that way. I have CMR and tune and on my truck I have made it a lot better that's for sure but there is still that throttle line you can't cross unless you want boost.

Your going to have some tuning problems with that 2013. Don't think they have the tuning down pat on those.......

PS. Make Arrington prove to you that they have tuned a 2013 supercharged Hemi Ram. Make sure you get a warranty/guarantee on it too......
