so which power adder to go with.

i know this question is old but im really lookin into which power adder is the best out there and i wanna see what everybodys reviews are on their power adder. .i am debating on either a supercharger or a turbo. i know there is sts, gs motorsports and procharger. also kenne bell but who knows when that will come out. the only thing im worried about is the tune. why is it so hard to crack the computer in these trucks. i see lightnings and chevys getting charged by the second. i know are trucks are only about 4 1/2 years old but some one has to do something. I love my hemi and i think for stock to stock it will run just about anything out there, but i need that snap ur neck factor in my truck. so i want to know what route is the best and safest and somewhat the "best bang for ur buck" im 16 and i have 3 jobs and i wanna spend some on my truck to go to the track and kill them modded diesles and other wild cars. but still be a daily driver and pull a trailer "not anything heavy". what about warranty issues, tranny and rear end and what should i do like run a bigger fuel pump, ect. ive seen hemidup progress but i dont wanna go that crazy, just that saturday night special truck.

thanks, John

Procharger is still not in the game for all years.

Their website says they are, but they are not.

For the money, sts is the way to go.

GSM uses additional injectors in the intake tube, not good. Our throttle bodies and manifolds are not designed for that.

The sts does not come with a tuner, you have to supply your own.

So, all of us STS guys use the PerfectPower SMT-6 with larger injectors and a 2 bar map sensor.

Just keep one thing in mind... what ever you decide you will eventually need to upgrade your transmission...

Procharger is covering all years except the 03 model. Me and TheBoss are trying to get them to accept our trucks as beta testers for that year. Haven't heard anything back yet, as they are still lining out the 06-07 models, but hopefully soon...

Nitrous is an easy and efficient upgrade, and like Av'sFan points out, you will eventually need to upgrade your transmission.
