RamHammer dyno results

Bolted it on 4 days ago, and been driving like a bat outta hell since, so I suppose the computer has learned it by now, so I took it to DTP Racing in Chesapeake. I go there and dyno after every mod that I install so I can see the true gains.

My mods are, AT3030 (dumped behind axle), Superchip 3815 set to (Performance mode), Ramhammer, Transgo shift kit, and a 180 thermostat.

What you see here is 4 total dyno runs, 5,6,7,and 8. Runs 5 and 6 are my old numbers with the same mods but no CAI. (I had a stock airbox and a K&N drop in filter.)
7 and 8 are the runs from today with the hammer.

My peak horsepower stayed the same at 277 RWHP.
My peak torque went from about 310 to 330 RWTQ.

I made some notes on the graph to make reading it a little easier.
H5 and H6 are the horsepower from the previous runs and T5 and T6 is the Torque from the previous runs.
H7 and H8 is horsepower from today and T7 and T8 are torque from today.
(Not sure why run 7 started so late)

Now, before anybody says I did not gain any horsepower from this intake, lets take a closer look….

At 4000 Rpm’s, I was previously making 230 hp and about 302 TQ.
With the RAMHAMMER, at 4000 I made 250 horsepower and 326 TQ.

That’s a 20 hp difference and a 24 tq gain. At 4000 rpm’s.
12 hp difference and a 19 tq gain. At 4250 rpm’s.
10 hp difference and a 20 tq gain. At 4500 rpm’s.

After 5000 rpm’s the numbers pretty much line back up and stay that way.

I am very happy with my gains and I highly recommend this intake.
Thanks to everybody who recommended it, and especially to BADZDAD for letting me have the demo and having Lance mail mine to him so I could get it last weekend.

Thanks for the post, this is exactly what I wanted to see. Looks pretty stout in the mid to upper power band.

Lines up with what I've been saying and feeling. A definite increase in response and power down low = a much more streetable configuration. I wasnt expecting 24ft lbs of gain though!

Is it me or does the graph look like the RH makes the power faster and holds it longer?

I like that a lot....people can have HP all they want. Torque is where its at for these heavy freaking beasts of a truck.

Thanks for sharing the numbers. That should help a lot of people make an educated decision.

Thanks for the graphs,..

But from day one I have been asking for a STOCK truck dyno,.. no exhaust,.. not SC, STOCK as in right off the lot.

The boys at Ramhammer have yet to do this.
