pointers for sts turbo installation

I probably won't be doing the install until next weekend but any pointers or suggestions on the installation?

My suggestion is do one thing at a time and fix the bugs one at a time.

First, put the tune back to stock.

Install the turbo, get rid of exhaust leaks, make sure your gauges work, etc.

Then go on the to next thing, maybe ic, but if its air/air, you can safely do that with the initial install.

Since I absolutely know that I don't have time to install this all in one weekend....should I begin connecting like the smt-6 and the 2 bar map sensor? or should I wait until after the turbo?

you could do the smt6/larger injectors/2 bar map before the turbo if you wanted. Just remember, if you drive it w/o the turbo then you'll only see about 2.3 volts of map at WOT so it won't go anywhere.

And don't wire the smt6 with 2 bar map and start the truck...or install the injectors and start the truck....do it all and THEN start the truck.

Hey thanks for the wiring configuration. I am still going over it to understand it.
