New 3rd Strike CAI

So i got my Cold Air Intake from Duane this weekend. Installed it in about 30 min. Everything fit perfectly. If your considdering buying a CAI and are on a budget i suggest you check 3rd strike out. I dont recommend anyone unless i really like them. I had no idea how much of a differance a CAI would make. I get 3 MPG More on gas that alone is worth it. After 6 months this baby pays for itself on the gas i save. Plus you get the rpm's past 4000 and it sounds like you have a jet under your hood. I am very impressed! I like it so much, I want more, so my question is, whats the next thing i can get for around 200 bucks? Looking for gas savers mainly but i wont complain over more HP. Shorty wires and new plugs would that help?

If you asking what an E-fan is its a electric fan. And your stock truck has a fan driven by the serpentine belt. When you put an electric fan on its powered by the battery and not the engine. This frees up extra hp and gives you better gas mileage.

more stuff eating off my battery? My amp is sucking most of the juice already wont the fan just kill my battery in a year? And if i take the stock fan off, whats going to happen with the fan pully? does that come off and i need a smaller belt or what? You see, i dont know much hehehehe

you dont take the pulley off, just the fan and clutch, its like taking 10 pounds right off of the crankshaft, plus e- fans are much more efficient, and no your alternator is very capable of the current that is needed, even with an audio system. Unless you are going to run your fans with the engine off lol i dont see it killing your battery in a year.

And you can always buy an optimum battery and you shouldnt have any prboblems. The efan can free up about 10 hp also.
