I don't recall what was in the other lane. One race the car was a late model 15 second thing and the other race was a white Supercharged '05 Mustang GT.

I think he's dialed back the boost to about 3psi right now. With the cool roads now, he can't keep traction anymore. He made a comment that it almost wasn't fun to drive at the moment. lol. I told him to wait til Spring/Summer and his tires stick again. He's not made a successful trip down the track yet due to tire spin. Here is his last comments to me regarding the track and his 22's:

"Went to change to slicks- wrong socket- looked high and low and NO ONE had a deep well 3/4 socket.
So- deflate my tires to 20psi and make 1st 10psi run.
Spins off line into 2nd, starts to pull, hits 3rd and breaks tires loose, goes sideways and I come within 2 inches of clipping the box in the middle of the track...

Clean drawers out and try again.

Ease into off line, doesn't spin at all- hit 2nd gear and breaks tires loose, starts to get sideways, let out, change to 3rd get into and stay, truck gets sideways gets on the centerline and almost clips Mustang Cobra that to this point I'm a truck ahead (WOW) I let out and coast through.

I go back to 3psi and load the truck up to go home!!

Very eventful night lol" This message has been edited. Last edited by: hemifever, document.write(''+ myTimeZone('Thu, 16 Nov 2006 08:13:20 GMT-0800', '16 November 2006 11:13 AM')+''); 16 November 2006 11:13 AM

How sad, wish we all had those problems and here I was complaining about not getting traction in first gear and even worse with the nitrous, thank goodness for progressive controllers for nitrous

Your pistons will thank you too, especially the top ring lands.
