2007 D 5.7L
Installed this bad boy last night.. everything looks and acts like it should when driving However,

Now I get 2 dings on start up whereas before I got none. This is of course over the the normal start up sequence start up dinging and dash light check. then everything goes back to normal

Any idea what it means?

after some research:
it seems when you disconnect the battery for some time. Maintenance reminders may cause the dinging. and to think of it I did set up maintenance rememinders for the tire rotation and next oil change..
will check after work.
