How do I wire a srt4 map?

How do I go about wiring up an srt4 map for a turbo setup?
I know those maps have very finicky voltage readings, from afar I've heard.
If anyone knows anything let me know thank you!

What tuning strategy are you using or considering using?

I've decided to stay with CMR for the time being, but I've been speaking with fast and this time next year I'll hopefully be running a FAST xfi/xim combo w/ boost option, Full standalone. Once I get it all wired to 05 PCM and map wired and tuned ill post up my build thread. I've got a ton of pics and videos.

Before attempting to go stand alone I would recommend first controlling the transmission so the PCM limp mode won't interfere with the trans. You might take a look at my Megasquirt attempt. I may try this again but you can bet a trans conversion will be done first. Good luck.

That is a popular conversion, I need to do a gear ratio comparison, but I favor the A518 since it can be controlled without electronics.

I like the 4l80 do the electronic control, so I can just put it in drive and go. I have an amazing engine/trans tuner at my side though.
4L80E ratios
1st 2.48:1
2nd 1.48:1
3rd 1.0:1
4th 0.75:1
R 2.07

A518 ratio
2.45:1 in first
1.45 in second
1.00 in third
.067 in forth

Looks like there is very little difference except the 4L89E OD is higher. The A518 .067 OD is close to the 545RFE .069.

A518 has OD and lockup converter. The 727 would need the "gear vender" od unit.

Dodge 727 Transmission Swap to 518 Transmission from PATC, 46RE 47RE 48RE
