For those of you with the SRT Front Bumper

I came across a post by Hemi 8U2 over at Rumblebee.org..

he came across this on Ebay - fits right behind the lower part of the front bumper and has 3 inch outlets:

I'm gonna check to see how much those cost at Dodge and see if it might be possible to use with my Daytona Front End - probably not cause the STR bumper has a much larger opening..

Isn't that an air duct for the brake system?

Probably is but with a little mod - couldn't ask for a better air intake could you?

If you dont have the SRT front bumper there is no way for you to use this, it sits in the center of lower bumper valance and is used to cool the brakes. Some of the SRT guys are cutting a little off and running a snorkel from that to the stock airbox and seem to like it, but your better off doing what DLine said especially if you have no opening on the lower bumper valance.

I had a detail install with picuters and parts needed to run a flex line from the fog lights to an open ended filter but cannot find it

I think that must be in the archives somewhere. I found a link to it in a post you did on November 30, 2007. But clicking on the link gives this error

I know it was basically a SPECTRE funnel that I installed behind the fog light once the fog light was removed, then I attached a SPECTRE flexable hose to that and it snapped in place right into the bottom of my opened ended Amsoil Nano Filter, but here is the drawback of any type funnel like that as it will pick up ALOT of dirt/rocks/gravel/bugs a we all know how notorious that passenger side foglight gets cracked all the time

I know about the foglight removal setup but unfortunately for me, my truck is also a show truck and I will not remove them. I only posted this for people mainly that have the SRT bumper and that it could be modified to help with their CAI setup.

I only asked the question for mine because I do not know how big the unit is.
