Ebay / AEM Knock off Question

Rec'd the "brute force" knock off and installed last night on my 2005 Ram Hemi. Went fairly smooth, looks nice and still testing. Question, it came with a black aluminum mounting block / spacer that looked like it would mount up to the throttle body, but then how would the pipe mount to that? It appeared unnecessary on my truck, so mounted all without this piece. All appears correct. As several have noted, this unit does not come with instructions. Is it possible that this piece was intended for a different year / model combination? Any suggestions / guidance are appreciated. Thanks.

Ebay / AEM Knock off Question

Yes, I agree. But, is it necessary? What is it's primary function? It only had an O ring on one side, therefore it would not make sense putting within the body.

Ebay / AEM Knock off Question

The spacer goes behind the throttlebody, between it and the untake plenum. Performance-wise, the spacers make no difference on our trucks, so as long as your kit fits well without the TB being moved forward by the spacder, you're just fine.
