Dual Filter Intake 3rd Strike

With a TBS and a 45 my dual filter intake sits straight and doesn't hit anything! It looks wicked! I chose this one because I thought it would be easier to keep mud, dirt and water off of it. Thanks Duane!!! You're the man!

Yes! These Hemis have a great sounding motor. Even when you can't hear the exhaust the motor sounds cool. An intake will really make it sounds cool!

I have the same setup, except I put the IAT in the 45 and plugged the hole on the intake. It does sound pretty nice.

That looks good. I like it, however, how much heat are the filters going to pick up being placed there, or will that even make any difference?

Maybe on every day driving a little. But I dont think it even really get that hot under there. But on the track people usually let their truck cool down and are under full throttle and moving fast I dont think it makes a differnce.

I don't think heat is really a problem. Look how big the filters are. I think the filters will allow in as much air as the hemi can suck. Even if it's all hot air I'm sure it's plenty. And like yall said, when the truck is moving I don't think there is any heat problem at all. When I get home from work I'll feel the filters and see if they feel hot after a 30 minute drive. I doubt they were have much heat on them at all.

But either way, like I said before I got this intake because I drive around on a ranch and down by the lake too much for a normal cold air intake. It would get covered in mud and water and be filthy within the end of the week. Plus this thing looks wicked!
