CAI 04 Ram hemi sport

Alright guys I'm going to do some mods to my 04 hemi sport. Trying to decide what brand will give me the best bang for the buck. It will be feeding either an 85 or 87mm TB. I have heard buying K&N you're paying for mainly a name. What are your thoughts????

I do believe CAI's help a little usually more with more extensive mods...I prefer the AFE and S&B brands of CAI...but that's just my opinion...there are literally thousands of them out there...many are successfully homemade too .

IMO I also think they help with other mods and mainly for me it allowed easy removal for access to the engine.

just don't get one with a metal tube. That will conduct engine heat vs. a plastic one, which will conduct a lot less heat........keeping the incoming air somewhat cooler.
