butterfly scoop intake

ok gang got a brain storm wife is gonna kill me soon was thinking about putting on a butterfly style hood scoop. it would fit underhood cause i put the 6pak scoop on so ill have the clearance been looking around and all i see it that they are for carbs wonder if we could modify one the othere concern would be it what about the air filter anyone have any ideas on this?it would elimate the door thin i was planing to mod for the 6pak scoop

also how could we use the linkage on the scoop to make it funtional since there is no linkage on the truck? ideas???

thanks mark always brain storms,also if works may put stock hood back on and cut hole in that so butterfly sticks out then i would SELL 6pak hood!!!just toying with idea!!

find someone with a rusted up broken elect. exhaust cut out. might be able to mount motor to side of scoop.
if you could get this up inside the big hood scoop this could work and help keep 'stuf' out of intake when not running.
but what about rain/snow?

the dual setup makes it a little tougher to do..

i like the idea, hope you can follow through with it. i wish ya the best of luck. i have an 04 stock black hood, if you need one to mess around with! i'll sell it cheap
