12' Ram w/Edelbroch Super Charger?

Alright Hemi lovers. I just had 'Abby"custom tuned and during the process I received a call from the shop saying that the truck does not just have an aftermarket intake, but, it is actually a super-charger (Edelbroch E-Force).

Now, after being tuned, the shift points are all out of wack. I can be cruising at highway speed and then accelerate and the engine will down shift, but, freezes at about 5500 to 6200 RPMs? It eventually drops to a normal cruising RPM but, why is there such a delay in the shift patterns?

My main concern is that this is an ECM tune issue and not the transmission. What are your thoughts?

Sounds like your getting some throttle hang and the typical WOT type deal when you don't want it to be.

I'm going to guess it's hitting it's factory revv limiter. Your main concern will be getting the transmission to live through wot downshifts. What background information do you have on the truck?

Welcome to the forum. You've come to the right place to learn about your hemi. It's going to take awhile to get up to speed on everything. WOT is wide open throttle. Tell us about your truck. Sounds like you bought it without knowing it was SC.

You can also tell us about what and how it was tuned. Do you have a Diablo tuner? And what boost are you running? Lots of questions but for us to help we need to figure out what you have, how it is setup. And what supporting mods you have. There is a lot more than bolting on a kit and driving it.

The first Ca is in the tune and even then we can only cushion it to a point. What tuner and what boost are you running and does it have a blow off valve or is it a roots style blower?

I have no idea anout all that, but I will ask the shop that tuned it tomorrow. Once I find out I will let you guys know.
