I swapped my CAI out Friday and found I had a bunch of water/oil gunk blown back through the tube from the air cleaner to the oil fill. Lots of crud in the air cleaner and more in the PCV area. I cleaned everything up today including the throttle body and intake / PCV well. Looks Ok after a short test drive, but I'm thinking I might have something blocked in the PCV system. Questions:
Shouldn't I feel a slight vacuum at the air inlet to the crankcase (oil fill)? I feel nothing at idle. I have good vacuum at the brake booster.
Anyone know how the PCV well in the intake is connected to the crankcase? I can't really see in there, as it's under the firewall. If something's blocked, it has to be there, but I can't see what I'm doing. Anyone got an intake lying around?
