Heat the area with a hair dryer and remove them. It is best to wait until the summer when the truck is hot. Posts: 4*|*Location: Killeen, Texas*|*Registered: 06 March 2005

Monofilament fishing line (17lb. test) works best. If you use a heat gun or hair dryer be careful not to get it to hot...you can screw up your paint. Goo-Gone does work for removing the left over stickey stuff but it still isn't easy. Just don't get in a hurry and scratch your paint...take your time and it will be well worth it. Just do a door or the tailgate and wait a few hours before starting on another one....your fingers will get sore if you push to much on the stickey stuff, believe me.
