So I just bought a Sir Micheals steel roll pan and am wondering if there are any details I should be aware of when it comes time to remove the factory bumper?

I probably will wait till Spring to install it so that it won't have to face this winter before I get it painted to match the truck.

only thing i can think of is you have to undo the frist two set ayt the rear of bed bolts, so you can tilt the bumper enough to get it out. other than that no big deal.

I undid the rear four bed bolts and used a floor jack to lift the bed a few inches to remove the OEM hitch assembly. I also choose to weld a 3/4" lip to the top of the roll pan to tighten the gap a little. I recommend using a hidden hitch to help strengthen the rear frame and to be able to tow if you want.
