I have done a little research, looking for a power tailgate lock that works off the FOB. My heart was set on installing a Mopar lock. As luck would have it, they don't make one for my 08. At least that was what I was told...Hmmmm? SO! I am looking for welcomed opinions regarding aftermarkets. It will need to be a unit that will operate around the zero degree range of winter without fail. Or...Maybe I am wrong and really need a key lock???...Maybe?

Mark,

Thanks for suggesting the Pace Edwards tailgate lock. I looked further into it on their WEBsite and found it to be the item I needed. I am heading down to a local retailer in the next week or two and have them order the Extang Solid Fold, Amp Power Steps, Husky Liners, Tailgate Strut and the Pace Edwards tailgate lock. Thinking I might get a deal if I place a substantial order.

The Pace Edwards tailgate lock works like a charm! Their instruction could use a "little" brushing up since I was up till 2:00 am, head stuck under the dash, arguing the fact that it's a "BROWN" wire with a light green stripe and "NOT" a tan wire wire with a light green stripe!
