Line X or Rhino Liner?

Im thinking about getting my bed sprayed with one of the two. What are the ups and downs of each?

Line X or Rhino Liner?

I'm a LINE-X dealer. I'm not going to "sell" you on either. They are not the same products, you decide which is right for you.

Rhino (Tuff Grip, used to be called Tuff Stuff): 100% polyurethane, tear strength 145 pli, temp tolerance 175 degrees, uses a cold/low pressure application system, softer at Shore A 92.5, gels in 30 to 45 seconds, dries in 45 minutes, cures in 24 hours. Optional UV topcoat is called Rhino Shine. It will eventually peel off the liner and must be reapplied (the consumer can buy a bottle of it and do it themselves). It's thick and not fun to apply. They now have two new products, Hardline and Solarmax. Not too many dealers offer it yet because they have to buy to spray equipment.

LINE-X: Polyurethane/polyurea blend, tear strength 295 pli, temp tolerance 220 degrees, uses a heat/high pressure application system (for better adhesion and a more uniform looking final texture), harder at Shore D 45, dries in 4 seconds (thus follows the bed’s contours much better), cures in 24 hours. Several UV products are available: Ultra Shield, Nason, or Xtra. All are one-time applications, Xtra is the best (made by Dupont only for LINE-X, contains a Kevlar micro pulp for extreme durability).

Here's a few pics of both:

go with line-x all the way.

had rhino in my '95 ram, had to be re-done the first year. they have no nation wide warranty. went back to the shop were it was original done, they had new ownership and did not want to fix it. turned out to be a big mess.

have line-x in my '05, so far no problems. they do have a nation wide warranty.

I've had Line-X for almost 3 years and absolutely love it. Durability is top notch and I've abused it with projects in the past.

A friend of mine went with Rhino and is pleased, however he liked the texture of the Line-X over Rhino and was wishing he went with it instead.
