I have the chrome grill and bumpers on my 2007. My father-in-law has a 2008 "work truck" that has the flat black grill and bumpers. He's willing to swap with me so I can get the black ones painted to match my truck. I'm wondering what would have to be done to the bumpers and grill for them to be painted? Thanks in advance for any info.

with most of it being plastic, first clean, sand then primer. That goes for the metal parts also.

Just remember...you usually get what ya pay for. If someone can do your paint for 300, ya might want to see what kind of work they have done.

Finished product will look good all matched up.
