Bull Bar vs. Brush Guard

So, I'm torn. I want a brush guard on my truck by the GF and a buddy think a bull bar would look better on my truck. I have a 16' 1500 Express quad cab,
4x4 is the blue streak color. One of the things that scares me is that the bull bar appears to mount really low and thereby decreasing my approach clearance. Not that I'm a hard core off roader but I certainly don't want to scrape a curb when I pull up to it. I don't plan to lift the truck and either way, I would go with chrome. Any suggestions is appreciated. Let me know the best brands too if you can. Pictures are always appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

Chrome Bull Bar would probably look better... If you need tough functionality then a Ranch Hand full wrap brush / grille guard would be a better choice IMO .

Welcome, I put a Bull Bar on my truck but it looks a little small... But I prefer the Bull Bar look...
And I wouldnt worry about touching a curb, they aren't that low by any means...

This is the bumper/guard that I have. It is lower than the stock bumper. Haven't had any issues with rubbing curbs but I'm getting a 2" level sometime to make it look right.

For a street look, go with a bull bar. If you want aggressive style that can protect the headlights also, get a brush guard.
