Brush Gaurd

Having trouble finding a brush guard for 4th gen 1500. Does anyone know of any manufacturers and do I have to back front bumper to do so?

What are you looking for exactly? Blacked out? Shiny? Winch? I would shy away from thin gauge ones that are chromed or painted....they don't last very long in Iowa winters. Get 1 rock chip and the next year you've got rust bleeding everywhere

I have a black truck so blackout would be simple but since blacked out vehicles have become so popular I'm kind of leaning towards chrome brush guard and chrome wheels to give it a little class. I just haven't had good luck finding something for the ram 1/2 tons.

Westin Automotive - HDX Grille Guard

Westin Automotive - Sportsman Grille Guard

Westins look nice IMO and you can't go wrong with stainless steel, lifetime warranty You can also get these with winch tray and/or tow hooks

Vehicle Search

Luverne stuff is usually cheaper priced but from a few I've seen, the quality isn't quite as good.

Hope this helps!

You're welcome! I dig a Ram with a grille guard Here's a pic of mine. I'm unsure of the brand, got it used and couldn't find a sticker or stamp, but it's a stainless steel one

As do I, it compliments an already beautiful front end. Can wait to get mine ordered and will get some pics up to ya. Have had my truck for 2 years with a laundry list of plans just been to busy and indecisive to do it. This forum is my motivation.

Hi t8kdown,
I am looking at the Westin HDX with winch mount. It is one of the nicest looking ones out there for the RAM gen 4. Warn has a Trans4mer gen 2 setup that is also nice but it is pricey even compared to the Westin HDX.
Good luck and enjoy.
