If so, what bulb did you go with to get your ability to see anything back? Looking at LED's, but don't know if I need a special capacitor or resistor to use with them. Also don't know how LED lights work with reflector housings.

I will tell you that I love the look of these headlights, but my ability to see with the stock h13 bulbs has been cut in half.

The light pattern is a little weird also. On low beam, the spread and throw look fairly normal, just much dimmer. But on high, the pattern almost looks like seeing straight ahead with blinders on. The edges of the beam are sharply cut off on either side.

It's a little easier to see down the road with the high beams on, and I never get a flash from people, so evidently it's not hard on their eyes. I would like to put in something much brighter if I can, so I can keep the lights. I hate the stock clear headlights. They look bad on a black truck.

I don't have those but you could get a set of 4-6k HID and make sure the lights are pointed correctly.

I would like to hear back from people who have replaced the bulbs in their reflector housings with either LED or HID. Evidently certain retrofits either have really bad light scatter and blind other drivers, or the installation proves to be an issue with blinking or shutting off.

I have HID in my Stock 2005 lights issue free for years now. The one thing I do notice it that it kinda puts a triangle type beam put onto the floor with the center being very visible on the ground.
