Looking at hidnation.com they have them listed by color...3k 6k 8k 10k and 12k. Any ideas what the comparison to 36 watts is

the 3000k,6000k ect ect is the color not the output. 3000k is yellow 4000k-5000k is white and 6k+ keeps getting bluer (sp?) 4000k-5000k is ideal for max light output (lumens), most hids kits are 35 watt and blow away halogens ( even silverstars) and a 55 watt kit is better again but washes the color a bit, 6000k might look like a 5000k.after 6000k you are losing light output.

iv had good luck with ddm...but some people dont, you can have 55watt lows , 35 watt fogs, and the error eliminator for about 90 plus shipping. with 55watt low beamns you probably will never use hi beam again.me personally i would go for 5000k low beams and 4500k foglights, most light output without the blue look.
