I finally installed my PUTCO Pure LED Red/White Tailgate Light Bar yesterday. I am glad I chose to mount it in the brackets instead of the double sided tape. The instruction sheet said mount it with the wires to the right side otherwise the turn signal will enable in the wrong direction. When I turned on my left turn signal the right side flashed. I had to pull it off and reverse it along with re-running the wiring. I should have plugged it up and tested it myself. It really sets the truck off. I put it in the gap between the bumper and tailgate where it is hard to see until it lights up.
I had to retry posting the photos of my LED tailgate light bar. The night photos were a little hard catching the light when it flashed, and my LED tail lights are very bright. The light bar is almost invisible during day light until brakes are applied.
love mine BUT I had to buy two the first one I put it on to high and crushed it when I opened the gate
I was going to hide it above the lower lip on the tailgate, but it was evident that when opened the tailgate would crush the light. I put mine down on the lower part of the bed just at the top of the bumper. It is mounted in brackets so I can pull it up to gain access to lower the spare tire if needed.
