So I'd like to maybe tone down some of the Chrome on the truck and want to do something cool with the heads - HALOs, LEDs, etc. I'm not a DIYer - so I'm ranging from and ebay buy to something maybe someone here would do for me.

Maybe dump the chrome bug shield too?

Budget is an issue to - don't want to spend 600 something for a set of heads. Naturally doing something with the existing heads would be cheapest but I don't trust my skills to do something like painting em.

Thoughts and ideas? Anyone got pics of a red truck with smoked heads?

Hold on to that chrome bug shield,if we meet up at a GTG might be interested. I might need a few chrome pieces.

Ken - that is one seriously fine lookin truck! LOVE the white accents - don't see that very often - always black. I'm gonna pull the bug shield off and take a look at the truck without it. I think the rally stripe art on the hood will look better without it - the shield cuts em off a bit.

I'll be glad to hold on to it. I'll be driving thru AL in May headed to Simpsonville, SC - maybe we could arrange a meet along I20 somewhere (no idea where Albertville is).

Do you catch S*** about all that chrome? I had a Chrome Edition F150 before this Ram and all I heard from guys was how much they hated chrome. Same thing when I got the RAM - loose the chrome and it will look better.
