power for bed lighting

Where should i get power from to feed a led under my tonneau cover. Probly going with the fridge button to activate it so I'll need to tap into something that is always hot.

Could you snake a power wire up through the corner post hole?

It shouldn't be a problem. I think there's a under hood light, I'll double check wife gets beck in a few and if so I'll just tap into that wire and run one under the truck up into the bed.

Do you have the 7 round trailer connector? If so, there is a constant 12 VDC pin on that.

Yes for the bed pull it off the trailer plug and snake it up thru the tailight area and out the inside under the rail.

If you want to go to the trouble there are pigtail adapters that will plug into your harness from your trailer light wiring to make it plug-n-play.
