New headlights!

Just installed new headlight assemblies to replace yellowed, sunburnt ones in my 2008 dodge 1500 Laramie. Look great! Wanna keep them this way, too!! Does anyone out there use wax or some other protectant on their headlights? Would love to know, Thanks.

I like to use 1500 grit sandpaper and use automotive clear coat over them. The paint has UV protectant in it that help keep the headlight clear.

Sunlight, age and oxidative pollution will always be a culprit on plastics . You can definitely slow it down with some TLC .

How is the beam pattern with those? I bought some crash replacements on Rock Auto, and they are pitiful, dark spots everywhere. I hate to spend money on something that's not going to perform like it should. It does look good though.
