Anyone had the following problem: Light Out keeps flashing on the dash, goes off when brake pressed (but brake lights are fine), but for the life of me I can't find whats wrong. Nothing special lighting wise, have plasmaglow bi-xenon bulbs.

Remove the rear tailights and Inspect the bulbs themselves look at the filament in the rear running lights and brake lights possibly a filament broke and fell connecting to next one or a filament is just barely broken and int working

I had a mystery lightout. Checked and rechecked, nothing wrong. Finally one day the wife drove the truck down my driveway and I saw the driver side brake light flickering. Replaced the bulb which looked good and cleaned the socket. Fixed the problem, would not havx found the problem without some luck.

This happened to me about 2 weeks ago. Was leaving work and as soon as I dropped it in drive the lampout light came on. Got home, shut the truck off, did some checking, started the truck back up and no more light. Hasn't been on since. No idea what caused it.

I hate the lamp out light. lolol Light come's on and all the light's are working. (WTF) I've had it with my hid's. Turned out to be the ground on the hid's 2x. Redone the ground's and solved the problem. You could put your stock bulb's back in just to eliminate them as the problem. The 03's/04's and some 05's had issue's with the circut board's on the tail light's. It will cause an intermitten lamp out that will come and go. After you check the ground's, tail light bulb's and prong's they slip into (clean and tweek them closer together with a small screwdriver) if the problem persist try changing the DS circuit board. It's the one that has been the problem for a lot of other's. The board only cost $20 at Autozone or O'riely's.

i had that issue with my 05, if the bulbs/cleaning don't fix it, I had to replace one of my rear light terminal boards($20 or so) its what your lights connect to
