HID Question

So I saw a picture on another forum...a guy put in 55W Digital HIDs in the heads and fogs. It looked to me like where the heads and fogs overlapped on the road was way too bright. I know it could've been from taking a picture at night and that area got a little washed out. What are your guys thoughts? Anyone here run that setup? If they are too bright together could you run 35W fogs with 55W heads?

Someone else told me kind of the same thing...that 55W is too bright for regular housings and really meant for projectors. I plan on doing a projector retrofit in the future, heads and fogs, so I was thinking if I went 55W now, I could just replace the bulbs and not have to get new ballasts. I guess I'll be doing a 35W setup for now and figure out explaining to the wife why I need a new light setup again when that time gets here. lol

I've been messaging him about what I'd need. I just asked him his thoughts on 55W in regular housings. I'll post here what he says.

My truck has the duals, not quads. I was looking on their site, but I'm not sure what all I would need to piece together to make it work. I've been looking at retroshop.us just because he has the kits already together, plus I think his stuff comes with a lifetime warranty.

Thanks for the info. So you just need the error code eliminators a for the headlights...not the fogs?
