Question hazy headlights

Headlights in wifey's truck are spottily hazed. Is the plastix polish worth the time and effort on them or are we going to have to get new headlights? They're not yellowed, just kind of blah looking. We have used the Plastix stuff on the lenses on the big truck and it made them look like new after going through 2 bottles of it using elbow grease. Just not sure how long it will last or do on much clearer plastic. Thanks.

I've heard the kits that have sand paper and polish/wax work the best. I haven't personally used them. I wanted dif headlights anyway so when mine started to get hazy I had a reason to get new ones. Atleast that's how I explained it to the wife.

Awww try this stuff Super Gloss Polish Unbelievable polish/cleaner! One bottle will last you a full year and take care of all of the grime, oxidation etc. It works wonders on hazy lights etc. I use it on everything automotive including my tools. Pretty good stuff.

I used a kit from the auto parts store and polished out my daughters headlights and it worked good. You will step through the different grade paper to finally using just polish.

Ok, I tried the Plastix stuff by hand and they are spotty. It is on the outside of them. Noticed under the hazing they are pitted rather bad so I guess my old heifer will be getting new housings. I like the halos/LED but am much too cheap to spend out that type of change on a vehicle that doesn't make money. Will be going back with the stock/factory housings. It is really weird because the passenger side one is the only one that did it!

Texas, Rolling Thunder! Ebay is where they will be coming from unless one of the salvage yards around here has them cheap.
