Factory Fog Light Wiring Help Needed

So I have an '04 Regular cab that is as base model as they come... I'm surprised I got a cd player and A/C!

Here's my question... I got the entire wiring harness from someone parting out a V6 '04 Ram along with the factory fog lights and I'd like to put them in, but have NOOOOO idea what I'm doing in concerns to wiring.... Of course, I thought my truck was already wired for all of this and all I'd have to do is put the lights in the holes and plug them in....

Here's what I've got:

Wiring harness from the fog lights (2 plugs) w/ 1 plug at the other end (w/ screw hole for install), a 15 fuse in it (w/ screw hole for install), a random purple wire coming out from where all the different connection wires come together, as well as the switch for in the cab....and of course my two fog light assys with the black guards aroung them....

Do I need to seek alternate professional help? I don't have a clue how to wire these in....

HELP!!!!

That setup looks like what I have as aftermarket. does swich have 2 or 3 prongs? the 4 prong plug I believe is for a relay and 1 wire goes to ground, 1 to battery and 1 wire goes to accessory key (power when key is on) as to which wire is which I cant really help ya on that, sorry What colors are the wires going to fog lights?
PS the easiest place to mount your switch for the fogs is in the kick plate below the steering wheel. All you have to do is give it a tug to open it.

This looks pretty basic to me. Fused ring terminal goes on the postive side of the battery, other ring terminal is the ground, purple wire goes to a switched 12v source, and that should be all there is to it. Mount the in cab switch and hook up the lgiths and you should be good to go.

I may be wrong, but thats how it looks to me.

Switched 12v source?

Imagine for a second that you're tlaking to a MORON... What does that mean?

LOL ~ I know basic wiring, but not really well. I'm the guy that can wire a home entertainment center w/ speakers, but that's simple stuff....

12v sitched = something that is on when the key is turned on.

Okay... So I got them all hooked up and everything, but I ran into a problem and they're still not functional yet.

Hemi Dave gave me a little insight as to what to do, but I wanted to get everyone else's take on it to see if there was an easier way.

I got everything hooked up underneith the hood EXCEPT the purple wire that needs to be hooked into a 12v source as UsmcMan96 told me.

There's the snag... Hemi Dave told me about a fat red wire behind the kick plate under the steering wheel, but there's two and I have no access to a volt meter.

So, before I go buy one, I was wanting to know if there was any other place, preferably UNDER the hood, that I can hook this into.

The other problem is that I don't know where the 3 plugs go into the switch, or rather, what order they go in.

FDrom the picture I took before, it looks like it's the yellow, then black, then purple... But I can't tell and OF COURSE, I didn't look before I pulled them off...

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Well, upon closer inspection, it looks as though there is a 15 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood in spot 41 that's there for the fog lamps... So I should be able to hook it in there, yeah?

I am not 100% sure, but I would think you could hook that purple wire to the fuse box. I am not sure though.
