Cargo Light Switch

Thinking about doing a little DIY project and was wondering about the cargo light switch. Does anyone know if that particular switch is a DPST or a SPST. In short, is that switch directly wired to the dash indicator?

It's wired in parallel and comes on when the circuit is powered up

Thanks charged! You saved me some time in having to figure it out myself. Parallel circuit, for my DIY project, is doable...I hope? I'll draw it up and submit here later to see if I am on the right track. My DIY project is having the indicator light in the dash to come on when the tailgate is open (without running a current to the cargo light unless it is manually switched on and still having the indicator light work for this as well). Shouldn't be a huge deal in figuring it out and having an indicator for us with bed covers might be a great deal.

BTW I searched the net and came up zip for this particular idea.
