Anyone tint your tail lights?

I think I'm gonna try tinting my tail lights. I've seen other trucks and I like the look. I was thinking of using tint film and a heat gun. I've seen YouTube videos and it looks pretty straight forward. I've used nth night shade spray on a different vehicle and didn't like the unevenness of the spray. Any of you guys have any experience with using film? Any film in particular to use?

The first thing you should do is check with your local DMV to be sure this will be legal in your area/state. The only problem I see is the tail lights are hard to see if they are on, this is a good way to get rear ended. I bet you would get the ticket instead of the one who hit you. Just my 2 cents worth.

I agree with the nightshade not being good. I used it on my last truck and had to put way to many coats on to try and even it out. And then got pulled over at MIDNIGHT for having to dark of tinted tail lamps...

Ive seen night shade look real good before. I think I wasn't patient enough when spraying it. I have aftermarket lights with LEDs that are pretty bright so I think it'll still have good visibility after tinting.

Keith I didn't noticed your tail lights were tinted. Your talking the white truck?

Well I guess in my case it was the person spraying rather than the product. Oops!
