2014 projector LED bulbs- anyone running them?

The low beam headlight on the 2014 Laramie trucks uses a projector lens.
Has anyone installed the LED replacement bulb on these? Putco has these LED bulbs for around $150/pair. Any issues with throwing codes, or lighting issues? I am wanting a replacement bulb that will give more light in the 4300k range, not wanting the HID replacements. There are posts that say some replacement bulbs are worse than the factory bulbs in the low beam housing of these projectors.

LED bulbs will not have near the output that HID's give you. I would consider just going with a 4300K-5000K HID setup instead. I run 5000K HID's in my projector housings, and they work flawlessly.

HID here also but they are years old still working led was not in then so.

Side note my friend has some LED headlights in his jeep and they are stupid bright but he had to modify the headlight housing cover for the fans on the back of them I see the ones you posted have a loose metal band may work better that way.

I've done the same. The LEDs seem like a great idea but HIDs are a proven technology and they look great. A service tech at my local Mopar dealer (ADA Dodge) said that they have been seeing the LED headlights blowing out quickly. And, they aren't cheap. I'd wait a few years and then they should be more affordable and reliable.

i ended up with hid in my low beams, the led was a waste of time, because of the led placement on the bulb it has very poor light output in a projector.hid is just kicking ***. in the fog lights i did opt for led bulbs, they work great in a reflector housing and are a noticeable improvement.
