Yep - that's the mod I've used for 13 years on the '05.
As poor as the lighting is on the Gen. III's I need the fogs on all the time with highs & lows - also for extra lighting when required I'm using behind-the-grille additional lights and I've added LED daytime running lights as well...

if its a 15 plus..its easy. hold the hi beam stalk back until all 6 light up, then let it flick forward fast..if correctly done all 6 lights stay on.i do this all the time.i pull back a little harder than usual and let its spring flick it forward.
