If you want to go completely insane (but they are really $$$) the HELLA LED RALLY 4000 Lights are crazy...a pair of them will make your truck look like a train coming .

Maybe a cow - catcher like the old steam trains had .

Seriously if you choose those or another high quality light for mounting behind the grille I think you will find the extra firepower helpful...another good reason to like our old Gen. III trucks - the new ones don't have much access to that area!

I can't have anymore obstructions in the grill area or cooling will be an issue. I had to move all the intercooler heat exchanger equipment down behind the bumper as it is to get air flow back to the radiator which is a bbc all aluminum unit.

Nice choice - space is certainly at a premium for you - there might be a way to get a high powered long range driving light into your fog light area since the other options are limited by all of the go-fast goodies .

The fogs have leds with a slight bluish hue to them. They are bright close up and make great daylight driving lights. I would like to keep them Jeremy has suggested what components to make for the best night time driving lights and I'll go with his recommendations.

Exclamation

Yep - I'm with you - I'm old and don't like night driving - I went with with projectors too, upgraded fogs, 130w driving lights and led daytime running lights...still could use more...
