Whining

Had a whining noise coming from the truck ( and no it's not the wife ) replaced the drivers side front wheel bearing I am going to replace the passenger side front as well, I still have a the whining noise , my question is when the rear pinion goes on the rear diff did any body have the whining noise before it went?

I have read that in the worst case scenario some people have heard a distinct whine/growl about 30 seconds before the whole differential grenades on the stock 9.25 LSD setup . If you have any desire or inclination change the stock junk BEFORE it craps out IMO.

Replaced both front wheel bearings and it is all good, back on the road again.

Bearings also cause the steering to dart back and forth at speed.
